iO3, the leader in maritime digitalisation and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider for the maritime industry, has today announced a collaboration with Pacific International Lines (PIL) that will see iO3 deploy its JARVISS solution, V.Sight, on PIL vessels. V.Sight, which is a video analytics and surveillance solution designed to detect intrusions and mishaps in inaccessible areas of ships, will aid PIL to remotely monitor sensitive areas, thereby increasing operational efficiency. 

After successful trials on 2 vessels from May to August of 2022, PIL signed with iO3 to deploy the V.Sight solution on 60 vessels. iO3 designed and built the shipboard infrastructure for PIL, which serves as a foundation for the service to function efficiently. The data acceleration technology embedded in JARVISS resulted in reduced latency in the satellite communications link, which enabled the smooth transmission of high-quality video imageries to shore. 

Roll out of the V.Sight solution to the identified vessels in PIL’s fleet commenced in October 2022 and will be completed by June 2023.
